In my work, I see every day that simply publishing content on LinkedIn is no longer enough; you also need to understand its true impact. The professional social network offers a wealth of valuable data, but without the right tool, it often remains raw and difficult to use. To address this need, I designed an interactive dashboard using Power BI, built to analyze the performance of posts in depth and guide strategic decisions.
A comprehensive view of LinkedIn performance
Upon opening, the dashboard provides a comprehensive overview: total number of posts, impression volume, engagements, and average engagement and click-through rates. This initial overview allows users to immediately grasp the reach of published content and identify general trends. This centralized approach makes it possible to measure LinkedIn performance clearly and quickly.

Identify the best-performing publications
To refine the analysis, a section highlights key content. The top three best-performing posts are presented with their impressions, engagement rates, and click-through rates. This ranking allows you to quickly identify the formats and messages that generate the most interest and interaction from your audience. By understanding what works best, it becomes easier to optimize your LinkedIn content strategy.

An analysis by content type and by indicator
The dashboard also includes detailed analysis by content type, whether it's articles, videos, events, press releases, mentions, or standard posts. Each format can be analyzed based on specific metrics such as clicks, comments, impressions, likes, or reposts. This allows users to focus their analysis on the metric most relevant to their objectives, whether it's increasing reach, generating engagement, or driving action.

Tracking performance trends over time
One of the strengths of this dashboard is its ability to visualize the monthly evolution of LinkedIn performance. By observing variations over time, you can identify the most dynamic periods as well as quieter moments. This data allows you to adjust your editorial calendar, choose the best times to publish, and plan content according to your objectives.

From raw data to optimized content strategy
The analysis revealed that some formats generate significantly higher-than-average engagement and click-through rates, while others stand out more for their impression volume. This distinction is crucial for rebalancing communication efforts based on priorities, whether the goal is to increase visibility or boost engagement. By consolidating all this information into a clear, interactive, and intuitive interface, this Power BI dashboard transforms disparate data into powerful strategic levers. It enables you to move from simple observation to proactive planning, relying on reliable data to guide every digital communication decision.
